You will be able to easily find the varieties in the rose garden by their border number (when the map now under construction will be uploaded in the near future)

Column A : accession numbers

The first two digits correspond to the year of acquisition till the first year of this listing (03 = 2003).
The latest three correspond to the entry number in the year.

Column B : variety names

Column C : category

Column D : rarity (relative to the rose garden)

* easily available by nurseries here in Belgium

** a little bit less easily available by nurseries

*** common variety got from amators

**** rare variety got from amators, or already commercialized variety got from breeders, local cv. allready commercialized

***** rare species or non commercialized variety got from breeders, local non commercialized cv.

****** mother plants, or very rare and endangered wild species

Column E : location in the rose garden (border number)

Column F : vendor or person who gave the variety

Column G : how this variety has entered the collection

Column H : which method of propagation was used to introduce it

Column I : geographic origin for roses which came directly from the wild or for rare or unidentified garden varieties.
